Use the General Settings panel to apply the same settings to all the components of the connection.
Dialog elements
- The same material used for all plates
- Select this option to use the same material for all the plates in the connection.
- The same settings for all bolts
- Select this option to apply the same settings to all the bolts of the connection.
- Diameter
- Select a diameter for the bolts.
- Bolt grade
- Select a grade for the bolt.
- Shear plane
- Specify if the shear portion of the bolt is threaded or non threaded.
- Connection category
- Specify the category of the connection.
- Slip factor / Factor
- For category B and C bolts, specify the slip factor and the Ks factor.
- Welds
- Select either or both of the available options to set the thickness of web welds and flange welds.
- The same thickness for web welds
- Applies the specified thickness to all the web welds of the connection.
- The same thickness for flange welds
- Applies the specified thickness to all the flange welds of the connection.
