In the Object Inspector pane, the Steel Connections tab displays basic data and calculation results for a defined connection or for manual verification of a connection.
The following information about defined connections is presented in the Inspector pane:
- connection number
- code used in calculations of a connection
- connection type
- beam-to-beam (BTB)
- beam-to-column (BTC) (frame knee, column-beam connection, or column-beam (two-sided) connection)
- angle (ANG)
- fixed column footing (FIX)
- pinned column footing (PIN)
- concrete column base (CON)
- pipe connection (PIP)
- tube connection with a gusset (GUS)
- bars making up the defined connection
- nodes for which a connection has been created
- forces acting in a connection
- ratio - indicates the maximal stress in connection elements (such as bolts, plates, and welds). The number describes the most undesirable stress relation between a connection element and the limit state of the element. After calculating the connection in this table column, it is schematically shown if the connection is in accordance with the code requirements (), or if it does not fulfill the code requirements ().
