Use this dialog to define specific parameters of RC beam depending on the RC code selected.
Access
Click Design Required Reinforcement of Beams/Columns - Options Code parameters to open the R/C Member Type dialog, and then click . In the Member Type Definition dialog, click Additional parameters.
Click (R/C Member Type) to open the R/C Member Type dialog, and then click . In the Member Type Definition dialog, click Additional parameters.
Dialog elements
The Additional parameters dialog provides the following data:
Rigidity of an RC element adopted in calculations of deflection (minimal or average value)
Participation of long-term loads for the serviceability limit state. For each combination, values of M and N forces are multiplied by the coefficient value defined in the edit field. The adoption of the Nd/N coefficient in this manner is not realistic. If such a simplification is applied, it enables performing calculations without splitting successive combinations into simple cases and composing them again (which speeds up calculations).
