If you make changes to the structure data, your results become out-of-date. To avoid losing your results, you can freeze them.
There are three ways to freeze the results.
To freeze the results manually
- Click Results Results Freeze.
Note: The Results Freeze option is active only if structure analysis results are available.
To freeze the results manually automatically
- Select the Automatic freezing of Results option in the Structure Analysis section of the Job Preferences dialog.
When this option is active, the results are automatically frozen each time structure calculations are performed.
Note: Automatic freezing is on by default.
To freeze the results manually semi-automatically
If the calculation results are frozen and you perform an operation that results in a change of the structure data, a dialog warns you about the possible loss of available status of calculation results.
- Click Yes to validate the structure data changes and unfreeze the results.
- Click No to cancel the structure data changes and keep the current results unchanged.
