Click (Data Table) or select Analysis > Data. Select the Columns tab to define columns with a rectangular or circular cross-section.
The column with the beam name (it does not have to be filled in) functions as the support of a common beam. Parameters can be entered for each column: column name, number of identical elements, cross-section with dimensions.
The de symbol refers to circular columns and designates column diameter.
The following symbols in the (column geometry) table refer to:
hsp - column height measured to the beam
hsd - column height measured to the slab
epd - slab thickness.
Use the following columns to define the column buckling coefficients in directions of axes Y and Z. The last two columns are used to define the concentrated loads applied to the column. They refer to the following load natures:
G - dead
Q - live.
