Set up a Dynamic Case

Note: Some analyses use the results of a modal analysis. Therefore, you need to set up a modal analysis before you can set up the following cases.
  • Seismic (Response Spectrum Analysis).
  • Spectral.
  • Harmonic.
  • Time History.
  • Push Over.
  • Harmonic
  • Harmonic in the frequency domain (FRF).
  1. Click Analysis Analysis Types. The Analysis Types dialog opens.
  2. Click New. The New Case Definition dialog opens.
  3. Select an analysis type, and then click OK. A dialog displays the list of parameters for the selected analysis type.
  4. Specify the analysis parameters for the selected case, and then click OK. The new dynamic case is added to the list of cases in the Analysis Types dialog.
