The following table list the file formats that can be opened or saved in Robot.
Import DXF / DWG backgrounds
You can use a DXF or DWG model file as a background for modeling your structure. This is useful if you want to define a 3D structure model based on a set of 2D projections from an architect for example.

Use this dialog to use a DXF or DWG model file as a background for modeling your structure. Backgrounds are especially useful if you want to define a 3D structure model based on a set of 2D projections from an architect for example.
To Work with Backgrounds in the Object Inspector
You can edit the Backgrounds properties in the Auxiliary objects section of the Object Inspector.
Parameters for Loading DXF/IGES Format Files
Use this dialog to set the import parameters for *.DXF, *.DWG, and *.IGES files.
Data Import (DSTV or CIS/2 format)
Supported Export Formats
You can export projects in different formats and import them into other software.
