Criterions to Stop Analysis

Click Additional criterions to stop analysis in the Non-linear Analysis Algorithm Options dialog to execute non-linear analysis with a user defined increment of the load parameter.

In the standard non-linear analysis, the load is applied with the increment dλ = 1.0 / X, where X - number of load increments. Consequently, the maximum possible load factor (λ) which may be reached for convergent calculations, equals λ max =1.0.

The maximum load factor λ max is indefinite or may be defined by the user.

The following criterions which stop analysis are available:

It is possible to define more than one criterion of stopping the analysis. However, the definition is limited to one criterion from a given group, i.e. 1, 2 or 3. Thus you may select for example 1A, 2A, 3B, but the definition 1A, 1B or 2A, 2B or 3A, 3B is not allowed.
