Select the Cross Section tab in the Stress Analysis dialog to display the extreme stresses obtained in the selected bar cross-section.
This dialog includes the following extreme stress results, calculated in the selected longitudinal bar section:
- normal stress σx (maximal and minimal)
- shear stresses - τxy, tτ, τxz
- stress σi - values of reduced stress calculated according to a selected hypothesis (HMH, Tresca).
Each stress value displays with a coordinate for which the extreme stress value was calculated.
Note: If you select a normal stress SIGMA X for presentation, the neutral axis displays as a dashed line in the cross-section of a solid bar.
