Open Recursively

The Open Recursively command lets you ungroup all levels of a group temporarily, and access objects at any level of the group.

• Default menu: Select one or more groups. > Group menu > > Open Recursively
• Alt menu: Select one or more groups. > Edit menu > Group > Group Open Recursively

You can transform and modify objects at any level of the group, independently from the rest of the group. To restore the original group, use the Close command.

Procedures

To open all levels of a group:

1. Select one or more groups.
2. Choose Group Open Recursively. A pink bounding box appears, and the objects in the group are now accessible.
