We've added new functionality to the promptline input and tools, including Hotkey mode switching.
The promptline now includes these options:
Toggle between Abs and Rel to enter absolute or relative numeric values. Typing a
or r
in the promptline still works in the same way as before.
New promptline input modes:
Automatic (default) - There is no need to move the mouse to the promptline. Keyboard number input is automatically sent to the promptline as input. When you start to type, a blue line is displayed below the promptline entry area. In this mode, single hotkeys can be used, excluding the reserved keys: a, r and numbers, which are interpreted as coordinates or value inputs.
Tab - Use the
Tab
key or click in the promptline to activate it for number entry. A blue line is displayed below the promptline entry area when it is activated for number input. In this mode, any hotkey can be assigned including a, r and numbers.
Tab
or click in the promptline for both modes.Specify the number of lines to display in the promptline. Click on the arrow icon to select 1, 2, or 3 lines for permanent promptline display. You can still use the promptline history icon to open a floating window that displays the full prompt history.
