Transmittal Package File Reference

Use eTransmit to create a package of files for internet transmission. Drawing files in the transmittal package automatically include all related dependent files such as xrefs and font files.

The following table describes common file types that are added automatically to transmittal packages.
File Types Added Automatically Description
*.dwg Root drawing file and any attached external references
various image file types Raster image files attached externally to the root drawing or external reference drawings, or as part of a material
*.dgn DGN files attached externally to the root drawing or external reference drawing
*.dwf Design Web Format files attached to the root drawing or external reference drawing
*.dwfx DWF files with XPS information attached externally to the root drawing or external reference drawing
*.pdf PDF files that are attached externally to the root drawing or external reference drawing
*.fmp Font Mapping File used for the in-place text editor when working with Multi-Line Text objects
*.ctb Color-dependent plot style files used to control plotting of objects in transmittal set drawings
*.stb Named plot style files used to control the plotting of objects in transmittal set drawings
*.pc3 Plotter configuration files used to control device settings when plotting layouts in transmittal set drawings
The following table describes common file types not automatically added to transmittal packages. Files of these types include information specific to applications that run with the product, or contain information originally used to format drawing objects not needed to by recipients view transmitted drawings.
