AMCONSTHW (Command)

Creates construction lines through a point by specifying an angle relative to an apparent line that passes through that point.

Find

Summary

You can switch between a ray and an xline by specifying turning the Ray Mode off and on (AMCONSTSWI command, Find). A ray is a construction line extending to infinity in one direction only. An xline is a construction line extending to infinity in both directions. When the ray mode is turned on the icon for this command changes to Find.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

First point
Specifies a point the construction line passes through.
Base angle
Specifies the direction of the apparent line, as an angle from the X axis. Later, you specify the direction of the construction line relative to this apparent line.
Second point
Specifies the direction of the apparent line, by specifying a point in the drawing area. Later, you specify the direction of the construction line relative to this apparent line.
Relative angle
Specifies the direction of the construction line, as an angle from the apparent line you defined in response to the previous prompt. You can draw multiple construction lines by specifying multiple angles separated by the | character.
