Summary

A wizard assists you to select the type of cotter pin, the view, and the size to insert. Only the cotter pins listed as standard content are available in AMCOTTERPIN2D. Use AMCONTENTLIB to access custom content.

Use the Select a Cotter Pin dialog box to select the type and the view to insert.

Depending on the selected view there are differences in the insertion process:

The following prompts are displayed.

Insertion point

Specifies the location of one end of the cotter pin.

End point

Specifies the other end of the cotter pin.

Rotation angle

Specifies how far to rotate the cotter pin around the insertion point.
