Use this dialog box to specify the hatch to use for section views.
Pattern Type Selects the type of pattern to use in the view: Pre-defined, User-defined, or Custom. |

Hatch Style Defines the hatch style to use in the view: Normal, Outer, or Ignore. |

Pattern Properties Modifies the properties of the selected hatch pattern. |

Pattern Lists available hatch patterns for the selected pattern type. |

Custom Pattern Specifies a predefined pattern in the acad.pat file or a custom pattern in its own PAT file. |

Scale Expands or contracts a predefined or custom pattern. AutoCAD stores the scale in the HPSCALE system variable. This option is available only if the pattern type is set to Predefined or Custom. |

Angle Specifies the angle for the hatch pattern in relation to the X-axis of the current UCS. AutoCAD stores the angle in the HPANG system variable. |

Spacing Specifies the spacing of lines in a user-defined pattern. AutoCAD stores the spacing in the HPSPACE system variable. This option is available only if the pattern is set to User-defined. |

Double Draws lines at 90-degree angles to the original. |

Exploded Explodes a hatch pattern so that it no longer is a single entity, and each line can be moved separately and exhibit different properties. |
