AMTAPERPIN2D (Command)

Inserts a taper pin from a standard content library.

Summary

A wizard enables you to select the type, the view, and the diameter of the pin to insert. In the front view, you drag to specify the length, and the length snaps to an available size. A tooltip displays the size as you drag. Only the screws and bolts listed as standard content are available with this command. Use the AMCONTENTLIB command to access custom content.

You use the Select a Taper Pin dialog box to select the type of pin and the view to insert. Depending on the selected view there are differences in the insertion process.

List of Prompts

The following prompts are displayed.

Insertion point
Specifies the location of one end of the taper pin.
Drag size
Specifies the length of the pin.
Rotation angle
Specifies how far to rotate the pin around the insertion point.
