To Create a Non-Associative Hatch (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. Click Home tabDraw panel Hatch drop-down. Find
2. From the drop-down, click the desired predefined hatch pattern.
3. Select the area you want to hatch.
4. Click in the area.

Note:

Only contours drawn on the contour layers (AM_0, AM_1 & AM_2) are considered valid boundaries to create a hatch.
