To Assign Snap Modes to Standard AutoCAD Commands (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

  1. At the Command prompt, enter AMOPTIONS.
  2. In the Options dialog box, select the AM:Preferences tab and click System. The System Editor appears.
  3. In the navigation area (left side of dialog box), select Acad/M OSWiz Osmode4cmds and right-click.
  4. From the shortcut menu, choose New.
  5. In the Modify/Create Configuration Object dialog box, in the Key box, enter the name of the command you want to assign snap modes to.
  6. In the Value box, enter the special value code for the snap modes (see the topic "About Assigning Snap Modes to Standard AutoCAD Commands" for details on special value codes).
  7. From the Type list, select string.
  8. Select Cfg.
  9. Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
