To Attach an External BOM to a Part Reference (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. In the drawing area, double-click the Part Reference to attach an external BOM to. The Part Reference dialog box is displayed.
2. In the External BOM section, click Attach. The Import dialog box is displayed.
3. Open the external file that contains the BOM to attach.
   Note: If the drawing does not contain a BOM, the Open button is disabled. If there is more than one BOM, select one from the list.
4. Click OK.

Tip:

Use the Detach button to remove the attached BOM database.
