Select Size Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

This dialog box is available from the Content Library only when the selected part or feature has additional specifications.

This dialog box displays available sizes for the selected part or feature. The title of the dialog box and the appearance of the displayed table differs according to the selected standard part or feature. All values of the selected part or feature are shown.

In the table, click one of the first two fields in the column to sort results. Click once to sort entries in ascending order; click twice to sort in descending order. Click again to return to the default sort order.

Use sort criteria to limit the number of selected parts and avoid a time-consuming selection.

There are two ways to specify a restriction for a variant in the parts table:

• To restrict found parts to those with a desired value, double-click the exact value of the part to find. The column title is displayed in yellow to mark the column as the restriction for the search.
• You can specify additional columns to further restrict the search criteria. They are also represented in yellow.
• Select the desired column from the table to determine a minimum or maximum value. Right-click to show the Restrictions context menu and select an option.

Right-click a value in the table to display the context menu. The following options are available:

Restrictions

Displays a dialog box to set the restrictions for the selected column. You can use operators like “<=” and “>”.

Restrictions for a selected value

Displays all possible conditions for the restriction of a selected value.

Remove all Restrictions

Removes previously set restrictions.

Change Unit

Displays a submenu, which displays all available units. If a unit is selected the units of the selected column are recalculated for the new unit.
