When you modify the contents of any instance of a component view or a folder, all instances of the component or folder get updated automatically.
When you add geometry to a component view or folder, you must activate it before hand. This ensures that geometry is added to the component view or folder and not simply to model space.
Use the AMSMOVE command to move geometry from one component view or folder to another. You can move geometry between components or between two views of the same component. Use the AMEXPLODE command to remove all geometry from a component view or folder.
