Select a Torsion Spring Dialog Box (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

Use this dialog box to select the standard part and view to insert.

Content panel

Contains a list of items, filtered according to the command that you executed to arrive at this dialog box.
 

Search

Provides the ability to search for content by keyword. You can enter multiple keywords separated by spaces.

 

Starts the search, beginning from the item selected in the tree.

Note: If the item you are looking for is above the current selection, it will not be found.
 

Displays the Search Options dialog box, enabling you to specify how the search is performed.

Details panel

Displays the preview thumbnails for the contents of the currently selected node.

   

Standards

Lets you select, draw and calculate a spring from a Standard, or Manufacturer table.

   

Modified Design

Lets you select, draw and calculate a specially produced spring.

   

Only Draw

Lets you draw a spring without calculation.

   

Empty Form

Creates an empty form that you can insert into the drawing.

   

Views

Specifies whether to insert the spring in Front View or Sectional View.

 

Address Bar

Displays the path to the current selection in the Content panel as a series of links separated by arrows. You can change the current selection by selecting a new path from the menu that is displayed when you click an arrow within the address bar.

View Options

Displays the Options dialog box, which enables you to define the size of icons in the Details tab and specify how they should be displayed.

   

View Larger Image

Displays an enlarged image of the selected icon.

Exclude from parts lists

Excludes the standard part from all parts lists. This option is visible only when you are inserting a standard part.

When this option is selected, the standard part remains in the BOM but is excluded from parts lists. Additionally, the AMBALLOON command does not create balloons for this standard part.
