You can change the value of multiple cells in a BOM in one go, but they must be in the same column.
- In the drawing area, double-click the parts list. The Parts List dialog box is displayed.
- Click the first cell, and then SHIFT-click the last cell of the range.
Note: - You cannot select non contiguous rows.
- All cells must be from the same column.
- In the toolbar, click . The Set Value dialog box is displayed.
- If the cells contain text, in the Value box, enter the new value for the cells.
- To set the same value for all the cells in the selected range (if the cells contain numeric values):
- In the Start value box, enter the value to set to.
- In the Step box, enter 0 (zero).
- To change cell values by specifying a starting number and an increment value (if the cells contain numeric values):
- In the Start value box, enter the number of the first cell in the range.
- In the Step box, enter the increment value.
- To change cell values by adding a fixed value to their current value (if the cells contain numeric values):
- Select the Add option.
- In the Value box, enter the fixed value by which you want to increase the values.
- Click OK until all dialog boxes close.
