To Create a Marking Symbol (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

1. Click Annotate tabSymbol panel drop-downGOST Marking & Stamping. Find
2. Select the object to which you want to attach the marking symbol.
3. If you attached the symbol to a line, in the drawing area, specify the start point for the leader.

   If you attached the object to an arc, circle, ellipse or spline, skip to the next step.

4. Specify the second point of the symbol leader and press ENTER.
5. Specify one or more points to define other vertices of the leader, and then press ENTER.
6. In the Marking/Stamp Symbol dialog box, select the marking symbol.
7. Select the contents, select the technique, and define the technical requirements.
8. Click OK.

Note: To remove information from the contents, methods, and technical requirements fields, click the Clear button.
