You can perform a screw calculation on an existing screw connection in your drawing, or as a stand alone calculation. The general procedure is the same in both cases.

. Find
- At the command prompt, select an existing screw connection in your drawing or press Enter to perform a stand alone calculation.
- In the Screw Calculation dialog box, define the parts of the screw connection in the following sequence: screw, nut, washer, plates, contact area, loads, settlement, tighten.
- Choose Finish to insert the result of the screw calculation into your drawing.
