A content hatch object captures information about the boundaries that need to be hatched and the hatch properties that need to be applied to hatch when the content is created in the drawing.

Determines the boundaries for the hatch from the objects that enclose the area around a specified point.
Select objects
Determines the boundaries for the hatch from the objects you select.

Remove marker
Removes a hatch marker (
), which was placed previously when marking an area for hatching. Once you remove a hatch marker, the enclosed area it was in is no longer marked for hatching.
