About Selecting the Extraction Template (AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset)

The Select the Extraction Template step of the BOM Migration wizard enables you to select the extraction templates to be used for migration.

Extraction templates contain information necessary to:

• locate and identify objects in the drawings in the folder you selected.
• extract information from the objects.
• map the extracted information to the appropriate component property in the BOM.

After you select the extraction templates, the name and location of the Reference Drawing from which the template files was derived are displayed.
