Summary
You can switch between a ray and an xline by specifying changing the construction line mode with the AMCONSTSWI command ( Find). A ray is a construction line extending to infinity in one direction only. An xline is a construction line extending to infinity in both directions. When the ray mode is on, the icon of this command changes to
