These release notes contain important information regarding the installation and contents of the Update.
.NET 10: Due to potential compatibility issues introduced by .NET 10 in AutoCAD 2025.1.4, the corresponding updates for the specialized toolsets must also be installed. In addition to updating installed products, you might need to update any object enablers installed for AutoCAD 2025 if you work with drawings created in the following products:
Updated object enablers can be downloaded from the Autodesk Account portal under Products and services > Available downloads > Plug-ins. If you use a third-party application that relies on an object enabler, contact the application vendor for an updated version.
AutoCAD Updates can be applied to AutoCAD including specialized toolsets installed as standalone apps as well as Autodesk Civil 3D and Autodesk Advance Steel. You can install the AutoCAD Update in addition to any applicable updates for the products and their included services listed below.
After applying this update, the product version displayed in the About box will be V.189.0.0 AutoCAD 2025.1.4. For specialized toolsets, Autodesk Civil 3D, and Autodesk Advance Steel, the Built On version will also display as V.189.0.0 AutoCAD 2025.1.4.
