MP4 Movie Export

It is now possible to export content using H.264 compression in MP4 container from MediaHub.

Not every media player can open MP4/H.264 generated with the 10-bit encoding profiles. Make sure to have access to the professional codecs to be able to decode these media files.

Clip Aspect option in Media Export

When exporting content to a defined resizing resolution with nonstandard aspect ratio, it is now possible to use the Clip Aspect option from the Aspect Ratio drop-down to use the clip's aspect ratio. Not all formats support Aspect Ratio metadata. The following file formats support this data:

QuickTime & MP4 Export Presets

The Apple iPhone (1080p) QuickTime (H.264) preset has been updated to allow encoding of content with any of the standard frame rate formats supported in Flame Family products. In previous releases, the preset was limited to 23.98/24 fps. A corresponding preset has also been added for MP4 encoding.

The AAC profile for QuickTime and MP4 export presets have been changed to use the 160-kbps profile, and is compatible with various audio tracks configurations (mono, stereo, and multi-tracks). In previous releases, to the profile used was limited to stereo encoding.

Tangent Mapper

It is now possible to assign custom export presets hooks 6 to 10 to Tangent panels using the Tangent Mapper application.
