Centralised Configuration (What's New in 2025.2)

Indicates a feature suggested and voted up by users on the Flame Feedback portal.

Configuration Files

You can reroute where the new tags configuration file is read from. For more information on the shared tags, see Tags Preferences.

In the configuration_files section, only the listed paths can be modified; no new items can be added.

For example, the tags presets can be set using the content of the tags.cfg file located in a central location by specifying a different path than /opt/Autodesk/cfg/tags.cfg.

Configuration Folders

The home location for the Load Font file browser can be defined in the configuration_folders section of the sysconfig.cfg file.

In this section, only the listed font path can be modified; no new items can be added.

When a setup is loaded, the application looks for the font in the file path saved in the setup. If it cannot find it, it then looks for a font of the same name in:

  • The file path defined in the sysconfig.cfg file.
  • The /opt/Autodesk/font folder.

When opened, the Load Font file browser sets the file path to the current font location. If the current font is the factory default (Discreet), the path from the sysconfig.cfg file is used instead.

If the current file path does not correspond to the location of the current font, you can navigate to it using the Current Font Folder button.
