Backburner (What's New in 2025)
Indicates a feature suggested and voted up by users on the Flame Feedback portal.
Backburner 2025.0 is a minor update with no user facing capabilities. It contains fixes for the following issues:
- Stability issues when using more than seven adapters.
- The server gets discarded when multicast events are dropped.
- The server Resync and Discard options in network.cfg.
- Servers regularly send out their information using a process called multicasting. This allows new clients or servers to discover them. It is now possible to define the server resync and discard operations intervals in the network.cfg file. The default value is 300 seconds (5 minutes) for the resync operation and 600 seconds (10 minutes) for the discard operation.
- Note: Since the network.cfg file is not upgraded when installing a new version of Flame Family applications, you need to have a look at the network.cfg.sample file to see the new options and add them to the current network.cfg file.
