To Reposition Hose Route Points

As your design changes, you may need to modify the position of the flexible hose route in the assembly. You can also adjust the location of points to modify hose shape and position. The hose route automatically recalculates and adjusts to the new shape.

Redefine route points

Redefining a point is very similar to the process used to define a flexible hose route point initially.

1. Activate the flexible hose route.

2. Change the selected segment point:

   • To select a new point, right-click, and select Redefine.
   • Optionally, to change the offset value, pause the cursor over a feature. When the Offset tool appears, right-click, select Edit Offset, and then enter a new offset value.
   • Pause the cursor over the appropriate feature or location, and click to set the new route point.

3. Right-click and select Done.

Move and rotate route points dynamically

To reposition route points dynamically or by precise coordinates, use the 3D Move/Rotate command.

1. Activate the flexible hose route.

2. In the Model browser or graphics window, right-click the route point to move, and select 3D Move/Rotate.

3. Use 3D Move/Rotate to reposition the route point:

   • Select or drag the triad to transform the point dynamically.
   • Click the triad to open 3D Move/Rotate dialog box and enter coordinates for precise positioning.
   Note: The offset value is ignored when using the 3D Move/Rotate command.

4. Click Apply or OK.
