On the ribbon, click the Design tab. Open any generator or calculator, and click the Design or Calculation tab. Appropriate commands are displayed for the tab you select.
- Import Templates
or Export Templates 
- Available in the Bolted Connection Generator, Shaft Generator, Spur Gears, Bevel Gears, Worm Gears Generators, V-Belts, and Synchronous Belts Generators only. Specify the file you want to open. You can open CAL and XML types of files.
For Import Templates, specify the file you want to open. You can open CAL and XML types of files.
For Export Templates, opens the Save As dialog box where you save a file with a specified name and file type.
- File Naming
- Redefine Display name and File name for components. For features, you can define Display name only.
- Enables/Disables Calculation
- Available in the Design tab only. By default, this option is switched on to enable the calculation. If the Enables/disables Calculation tab is switched off, the calculation is not performed. Also, if the Enables/disables Calculation tab is switched off, nothing is calculated during the Solver process.
- Enables/Disables Fatigue Calculation
- Available on the Calculation tab only. By default, this option is switched on to enable the calculation. If the Enables/disables Fatigue Calculation tab is switched off, the fatigue calculation is not performed. Also, if the Enables/disables Fatigue Calculation tab is switched off, nothing is calculated during the Solver process. Note: In the Bolted Connection Generator, this option is off by default.
- Resets calculation data
- Available in the Bolted Connection Generator,Shaft Generator, V-Belts Generator, and Synchronous Belt Generator only. Resets the load calculation data to the default values.
- Results
- The Calculation Report is displayed as a new window in html format.
