Include or edit included geometry in sketched route segments
In a finished route, sketched route segments can be edited by placing constraints on geometry in the tube and pipe assembly. When existing geometry can assist in defining sketched route points and segments, use the Include Geometry command to introduce reference geometry to the route sketch.
Activate the route containing the sketched route segment to edit.
On the ribbon, click Route tab
Create panel
Include Geometry .
Click geometry to include. Valid geometry for selection is any:
Right-click in the graphics window and select Done.
To continue editing sketched route segments:
If route points and segments are constrained to referenced geometry, they automatically respond to changes on the source geometry. To remove the associated constraints and clear up the graphics view, you can delete the unwanted reference geometry.
Activate the route.
Expand the Included Geometry folder, right-click the reference geometry, and then select Delete.
Associated constraints on the route sketch are removed. Changes on the source geometry no longer impact the route sketch.
