You can copy a View representation to a Model State to create a new configuration. Invisible components are suppressed and do not participate in the Bill of Materials (BOM). Use these steps to create a Model State from a View representation:
- In the assembly browser, click Representations then View to expand, right-click the appropriate View representation and select Copy to Model State from the context menu.
- A new Model State is created which duplicates the name and component visibility status from the View representation. Invisible components are suppressed and do not participate in the BOM.
- Expand the Model State node, highlight the new Model State and choose Activate to activate the Model State configuration.
