To Promote Dimensions

Learn how to create 3D annotation dimensions from the selected sketch or feature dimensions.

Note: This feature isn't available in Express mode in Assemblies.

1. On the ribbon, click Annotate tab General Annotation panel Promote Dimensions .
2. Select features or sketches to enable their dimensions.
3. Optionally, click to automatically select all dimensions from selected geometries.
4. Click Select Dimension and then select dimensions to promote.
5. Click OK to promote the dimension.
