To streamline assembly modeling, create a custom assembly template file with default values for your projects and workflows.
An assembly file becomes a template when it is saved to the Templates\%Language% folder, where language is the installed language pack(s).

To create an assembly file from a default template:
Set the properties to cost center, project name, or manager.
Properties are used to find, track, and manage files. The properties are also used to add and maintain information automatically in title blocks, parts lists, and bills of material.
Save the file in the Autodesk\Autodesk Inventor [version]\Templates folder or to a subfolder of Templates.
