Customize how Maya works

Use the Performance Settings to select trade-offs between quality and performance in areas such as dependency graph refresh, surface stitching, paint effects, and deformers.

To open the Performance Settings

Note: The Performance Settings window is available only through a MEL command or the Search field:
1. Press Ctrl + F, and type Performance Settings in the Search field.
2. Call this MEL command from the Script Editor PerformanceSettingsWindow;
