To select an analysis sequence

Set an appropriate analysis sequence to ensure you obtain the results you want to study.

The available analysis sequences depend on the molding process you set. By default this is Thermoplastics Injection Molding.

To set an analysis sequence:

  1. Click analysis sequence icon (Home tab > Molding Process Setup panel > Analysis Sequence).
  2. Select the required analysis sequence.
  3. Click OK.

The new analysis sequence is updated in the Study Tasks and Project View panes.

Note: If you change the analysis sequence for a completed study with results, the existing results are invalidated. Instead, select Create Copy from the prompt to retain the results and create a duplicate study.
Important: A large amount of run-time memory is needed to run a large number of analyses simultaneously, and may cause the analysis to fail.
