User interface and workflow enhancements 2025

A great deal of effort goes into improving the user interface and workflow for each release, based on feedback from you, our customers.

Each year we send out surveys, release beta builds and encourage you to tell us about your experience so we can make it more enjoyable. We encourage you to let us know, via social media, product forums, surveys, or support, how we can help make your experience even better.

The key environmental credentials of a material are shown in the project tree

Icons are shown in the project tree if the material is biodegradable, contains potentially biomass-sourced feedstock, or recycled content.

Note: The Resin identification code icon is no longer displayed in the project tree or the Select Material dialog. The Energy usage indicator icon is no longer displayed in the Select Material dialog.

Enhancement in the Shrinkage Compensation Method

The shrinkage compensation method has been refined to better account for the expected deflection values of the molded part. This improvement provides a more accurate deflection value based on the actual cavity size, thereby enhancing the precision and reliability of the injection molding predictions when the shrinkage compensation option is used.

Data display tools

We have made the following improvements:

Warpage results now have Min/Max and Histogram display support, including display support for all Warpage visualization tools.
Overmolding analyses now have enhanced Min/Max and Histogram display support.
The legend bar now refreshes more appropriately when working with Warpage visualization and other Moldflow tools.
Min/Max labels now support all languages that Moldflow offers.
