Translate objects

Activate the Translation manipulation mode by doing one of the following:

• Click the Translation mode icon from the Viewer window Manipulation and Transformation mode tools in the Viewer window.
• Click in the Viewer window and press T.

Select the object and drag the translation arrows that appear to move your object in the Viewer window.

You can also do one of the following:

• Enter specific coordinates in the Global/Local/Layer field.
• Double-click a translation arrow and enter a value in the Axis Translation Delta dialog box that appears.
