To Simulate the Build Process from a Powder Bed Machine Workspace

Sending the toolpath off for simulation generates an intermediate 3MF file which is then automatically loaded into Simulation Utility or Local Simulation which then performs predictive modeling of the additive manufacturing build process for the selected build strategy:

1. In the context view, click Start build simulation.
2. Enter the path to save the intermediate file.
3. Select the desired simulation software depending on your installation.
4. Activating Unify support volumes for simulation combines each individual support structure into a single common entity.
5. Click Simulate to save the model in 3MF format and load it in the simulation software.
