Set Camera Projection

You can choose to use a perspective camera or an orthographic camera during navigation in a 3D workspace only. In a 2D workspace an orthographic camera is always used.

Note: Orthographic cameras are not available with Walk and Fly navigation tools.

Use a Perspective Camera

  1. Click Viewpoint tab > Camera panel > Perspective .

Use an Orthographic Camera

  1. Click Viewpoint tab > Camera panel > Orthographic .

    Note: To view AutoCAD DWGs linked to a point cloud in Orthographic mode, you may need to ensure the DWG Loader shows the same version as your installation of Navisworks. To change the DWG Loader Version, click the application button > Options > File Readers node, and click DWG/DXF. Scroll to DWG Loader Version and select a version from the drop-down.
