To select point-cloud points within a lasso

To select the points inside an irregular shape drawn in a point-cloud.

1. Display the point-clouds in the CAD view.
2. Click Point-Cloud tab > Select panel > Pick Mode > Lasso.
3. Left-click and hold, then drag the cursor over the model to draw the boundary of the shape. For example:

   

4. When the cursor changes to , left-click again to close the shape. All points inside the shape are copied to the clipboard.
Tip: Click Invert to select the points outside the lasso. To cancel the selection, press the Esc key.
