To select point-cloud points within a sphere

To select the points inside a sphere drawn in a point-cloud:

1. Display the point-clouds in the CAD view.
2. Click Point-Cloud tab > Select panel > Pick Mode > Sphere.
3. In the CAD view, left-click and hold to mark the centre of the sphere, then drag the cursor to specify the radius of the sphere. For example:

   

4. Release the mouse button.

   All points inside the sphere are copied to the clipboard.

Tip: Click Invert to select the points outside the sphere. To cancel the selection, press the Esc key.
