About homing a measuring device

You home a measuring device from the Tools tab > Machine panel > Home.

If you are using:

• a CNC/DCC-controlled measuring device, PowerInspect moves the device to its home position.
• a manual measuring device, PowerInspect prompts you to move the device to its home position.

Note: This option is available only when PowerInspect is connected to a CMM.
