To set GD&T parameters for the active measure

To specify the default angular filter for GD&T items:

1. Click Measure tab > Current panel > Parameters.
2. In the Measure Parameters dialog, select the GD&T tab.

For example, for GD&T Perpendicularity items, an angular tolerance of three degrees restricts the available datums to items that are within three degrees of the perpendicular of the feature to be checked.

Note: You can override the default angular tolerance in the Item Definition dialog of each GD&T item.
