To select the active measure

To choose the inspection data displayed in PowerInspect, choose an entry in the Measure tab > Current panel > Active Measure list. Select:

• <no measure> to view the nominal, unmeasured data of a model. This Measure cannot contain measurement data.
• <simulated measure> to view the data measured by the simulator in CNC and OMV inspections. Because this data is measured from the CAD model, the results always match the nominals of the part.
• Master Part and user-specified measures to store and view the inspection data from a measuring device or imported from a file.

Note: User-specified Measures enable you to use one document to inspect multiple parts of the same type.

To inspect multiple parts with user-specified Measures:

1. Create the inspection sequence for the part.
2. Create a measure to store the results for one of the parts.
3. Select the Measure in the Active Measures list.
4. Play the inspection sequence.
5. Repeat steps 2 to 4 for each example of the part you want to inspect.

To display the measurement data for a specific example of a part, select its Measure in the Active Measures list.
