To set Guided Single Point parameters for the active measure

To specify how probed single point measurements are taken and reported:

  1. Click Measure tab > Current panel > Parameters.
  2. In the Measure Parameters dialog, select the Guided Single Point tab.
    Note: Guided single points are available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines..
  3. Select the Record all points in the catchment zone check box to record all points taken within the Catchment zone radius and return the one nearest to the nominal. Deselect the check box to return the last point taken within the catchment zone.
  4. In the Catchment zone radius box, enter the maximum distance from the nominal at which points can be recorded. Points exceeding this distance are not recorded.
  5. Select the Stop recording when the distance from the incoming point to the target axis is less than check box to automatically save your measurement and close the probing dialog when a point is taken within the Maximum distance of the point's nominal. Deselect the check boxto save your measurements manually.
  6. Select Save as default parameters if you want to use these values as the defaults for new inspections.
